About Teal

Supplying used transmission hard parts since 1990.

Brad Alspaugh acquired Teal Automotive in the mid-1990s and developed it into an operation serving repair shops and volume rebuilders throughout the country.

Built around reusable hard parts

Teal buys used transmissions, tears them down, and separates reusable internal components from scrap. Parts are inspected and processed according to the component and application.

Pumps may be disassembled, inspected, machined, and rebuilt. Planets may be rebuilt using serviceable components. Other hard parts are inspected and prepared for resale based on condition and application.
